Musethica Zaragoza 2026: Outstanding Artistic Quality and International Scope
In May 2026, Osimun Quartet took part in the Musethica Session in Zaragoza. According to Musethica, the edition stood out for its outstanding artistic quality, international scope, strong social impact and excellent audience reception. Throughout the residency, the ensemble performed in schools, hospitals, social institutions and public concert venues, concluding with the final concert at Sala Luis Galve. The session also celebrated the 500th concert of the European initiative 1000+ Concerts: Innovating Higher Music Education through Social Inclusion.
Osimun reflections:
Fátima:
I have always believed that chamber music begins long before the first note is played. It starts in the conversation between the musicians themselves and only truly comes to life when that conversation extends to the audience.
That is what I will take away from Musethica. It reminded me that every performance is an opportunity to build a genuine dialogue, to invite others into the emotional world of each piece and to create a shared musical experience. Every audience brings something different to that conversation, shaping the way we listen, communicate and perform.
I leave Zaragoza with an even stronger conviction that every piece has something to say. Our responsibility is to uncover it first, and then find the most honest way to share it. In the end, communication is not something added to a performance; it is the performance itself.
