Osimun Quartet at Davos Festival - Young artist in concert

In July 2026, Osimun Quartet participated in the Davos Festival – Young Artists in Concert, an international meeting point for emerging musicians from around the world. During the residency, the ensemble performed in a variety of settings, including concert halls, a church, a museum, hotels and open-air venues. The festival is distinguished by its creative approach to programming, with concerts conceived around specific ideas that bring together works from different styles and periods, while creating connections between the music, the performers, the audience and the spaces in which they take place

Osimun Reflections…

Marta: What makes Davos so special is the sense of possibility it creates around young musicians. It is a place to encounter new ways of performing, thinking and imagining concerts, while being given the freedom to experiment and grow within a professional setting.

One of the most inspiring parts was meeting other young musicians and discovering the different paths that have brought each of us to music. Sharing time with people who come from such different backgrounds, yet are at a similar point in their lives, made the experience feel very natural and enriching. It was a reminder that there is never just one way of approaching music, and that we often discover something about our own way of playing through others.

Perhaps what I valued most was simply being surrounded by music for a whole week. There was a sense of openness that made it possible to listen with curiosity and to feel part of something without having to define it. Davos offers a rare opportunity to both see and be seen, while giving each musician the space to find their own voice.
